Some parents tell us that they guided their child through the first trial of YUVA until their child was pushing their hands aside and wanting to make a go of it themselves! Others tell us that they simply logged in to YUVA and said: Draw while I make dinner… Either ways, YUVA is designed to be intuitive for young artists.
We have seen kids respond to YUVA with abandon – creating pictures so various you’d think they’d designed YUVA themselves… Who needs a Demo, they say! This describes one type of YUVA Artist – if your child doesn’t bother with instructions on video games, this is what he/she will likely do.
If you and your child prefer a more systematic approach, you could watch the demos for each activity and then select to try one together. Then pick a shape swatch that you both like and make a drawing together while you explore the controls. Or else, you could turn to Ideabooks for inspiration.
Ideabooks

Ideabooks are created just to hint at the many drawings that can be created in YUVA. Flip through them for inspiration, or select a drawing to trace. This drawing will load on the canvas and be available while drawing but will not be saved with your drawing. Click on "Ideabooks" at the top of screen at any time to reference these drawings.
