What are YUVA's safety and security measures?

At YUVA Studio, privacy and online safety are taken very seriously. We design and develop with the assumption that our Artists are children. One of the most important requirements for a nurturing environment is that it be safe, open and accessible. And for this, YUVA Studio asks all Members to take our Membership Policy and Privacy Policy very seriously.

Call to all Members
YUVA Studio encourages all Members to ensure that content and communication in YUVA is kids-friendly and report any misuse of this site and contents. Membership to YUVA is a privilege and per our Membership Policy, your membership can be suspended without notice. We welcome Members who wish to moderate the content on YUVA.

Here are some of the measures we have undertaken:

Control Panel - You can choose to have your browser remember your email address and password. This way you or your child can login at any time without having to remember your password. All membership preferences (email, name, password, address book and other settings) are stored in a control panel. To access it, you have re-enter the password. You can also view drawings and ecards from the control panel.

Address Book - Artists can only send e-cards to those listed by Member in the control panel.

E-card - YUVA Studio assigns an authorization code to each e-card sent by an Artist. This is shared with the recipient who has to enter it to view the e-card. You can not use an old or a different authorization code. All recipients of e-cards can send feedback to Artists. Also, note that when you delete a contact or make a contact inactive in your address book, you refuse any communication including responses/feedback from that person.

Art Gallery - YUVA Studio invites Artists to send their drawings to our Art Gallery. If accepted (all public content is moderated), YUVA Studio will seek written permission from the Member before posting it on the public pages. We may also ask for optional information about the Artist and drawing, for example, "Name", "City", "Artist Profile" and "What inspired you to create this drawing?" or "Drawing Statement".

Monthly Report - Every month, YUVA Studio sends its Members a personalized activity report. It includes information about use, drawings, e-cards and responses. This report is a valuable way for YUVA Studio to keep in touch with our member base.
